When Courtney first began to describe her wedding plans to me, I knew instantly that this would be elegant & chic day filled with sophisticated details.
Courtney and Ryan held their ceremony at a local church and then headed with guests to a stunning historic mansion. The styling of the day was inspired by classic pieces made fresh and new. Courtney truly set the bar for the new way to wear blush. The asymmetrical gown was the perfect pop of color on this dreamy foggy day. This look was topped off with a timeless, Audrey Hepburn-esque, cathedral veil.
For dinner, Courtney switched to a blusher while Ryan changed into a dapper white tuxedo. The couple and their 254 guests began the festivities outdoors. The party then moved to a charming library for late night dancing.
From the Bride:
"I knew since I was a little girl that I wanted a classic and romantic wedding filled with different shades of my favorite color: pink. While I tried adding more drastic fall colors- in true “Steel Magnolias” vibes (my favorite movie) I kept coming back to different shades of “blush & bashful” with a pop of cranberry and greens. I even wore a pink dress! Our favorite season is fall, which is truly the most beautiful season in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We knew we wanted early October because it offers a glimpse of fall foliage with warmer temperatures. We chose Cairnwood Estate because it allowed our guests to eat “under the stars”, a clear tent attached to the mansion, without worrying about the weather. It was truly magical!"
