Location: Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Do you believe in fate?

After hearing Annie and Chip's story it sounds like a fairy tale of two people who were destined to meet. Bonding over classic old Fashions and good food quickly became a recipe for a happy life.

Annie and Chip shared their first date at MOMs in their hometown of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. They both felt the spark immediately!

"Chip was a senior while I was a sophomore at Central Bucks West, however, we didn't know each other that well in high school." “We joked about how we’d likely passed each other in the hallways at one point or another " - Annie

How did you meet?!

We found each other online, as many do nowadays. We texted back and forth incessantly for a couple of days before he asked me out.

We met up the next night and meshed extremely well from the start. In fact, we fell in love so quickly that we were looking for apartments together after two months of dating.

When you know, you know! - Annie

The pops of color in the garden grounds complement the bubbly personality of this fun-loving couple.

92 acres of lush, romantic gardens, romantic fountains and historic features are captured in our photo story. Located in Chestnut Hill Pennsylvania, this hidden oasis was perfect for the soon to be newlyweds.

What made you choose your engagement session location?

“We chose Morris Arboretum for our engagement session based on numerous recommendations.”

“It was a lovely venue and Hope did an amazing job capturing us and our love. I never knew I was so photogenic! Hope really worked magic that day, and I can’t wait for her to document our wedding.”

“I know we will get photos that will spark memories for the rest of our lives.”

What do you love to do together?

Everything is fun when we’re together, except for grocery shopping... that’s his pet peeve!

We love to picnic at Lake Galena, we love going to the beach, and we love to snuggle up and binge watch Netflix. Who doesn’t?!

We also like to drive around in Chip’s beloved muscle car to see the leaves changing in the fall.

Autumn is my favorite season, and Chip always makes sure we do plenty of fun fall activities

(Apple picking, pumpkin carving, oktoberfests.)

This fall season Annie and Chip will gather with family and friends at the beautiful Forrestville Barn in Bucks County for their wedding day.

Give us all the details about the proposal!

For Valentine’s Day, Chip gave me tickets to Punta Cana!

I thought he might propose on the trip, so I made sure to have my nails done before we left. No way I’m the only girl who has done that!!

Once we got to the resort I was anxiously waiting for Chip to pop the question, but the days went by without a proposal... I began to think it wasn’t coming. But on our 4th day, Chip got down on one knee and proposed to me on the balcony of our Oceanfront Suite. I asked him what took so long and he said he’d been trying to propose since the first day of the trip, but that I was being uncooperative! On the first day I had a migraine, on the second I was too sunburnt, finally, I had maaaaaaybe had one too many Pina Coladas -

I had unknowingly thwarted the proposal three days in a row!

If anything, the anticipation made the proposal that much more special.

And the bottle of Dom Perignon he had waiting sure didn’t hurt!
