The inspiration behind this editorial was “understated elegance.” We wanted to create a fresh, modern wedding day while still keeping things timeless. The neutral color scheme elevated that theme by letting the light and textures be the focus. You all know how much we love an all-white floral moment.
When we teamed up with Hill Event Co., we wanted an ultra-romantic ceremony scene. We adore how this floral arch resembles a cloud floating over the lake, and they brought the vision to life with the help of Winsome Floral. They’re one of our favorite florists in the area and we love any chance we get to collaborate with them. The bouquet they created was so romantic and full of lush spring blooms.
In addition to designing this gorgeous shoot, Hill Event Co. also created a beautiful cocktail vignette for us. The entire HHP team loved all of the interesting details, and the velvet salmon couch is a show-stopper!
The Alena Leena gown is swoon-worthy and perfect for any NYC bride! It was the perfect choice for the romantic views of the mountain area at Cedar Lakes Estate. It almost felt like being in Big Sur! This Hudson Valley venue is just a small commute out of New York City, plus there’s a lake that makes the most stunning backdrop. What we loved most was the intimate reception scene. This spot would make the most fantastic spot for a woodland ceremony.
