For this session, Courtney and Erik invited us to the city that they have called home for the last few years. Jersey City and The New York Skyline were the perfect backdrops for this day. We are excited to share their romantic engagement session and all the fun details! Check out this Jersey City engagement session below!
Furthermore, check out that view! We love photographing a Jersey City engagement session. It’s a great location for the NYC skyline.
Tell us about your first date!
“We went to Aria Wine Bar in the West Village – a cute little wine bar with tapas. At the end of the night, Erik got me a cab to take me back to my apartment in Midtown East, he hopped in the car with me to make sure I made it home safely, hugged me and kiss on the cheek, and continued on his cab journey to Secaucus. It was so cute and romantic that he made sure I made it home okay; date number two followed a week later at another restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen” – Courtney
Their energy as a couple is so bright and joyful! The pastel blue of Courtney’s dress compliments Erik’s classic attire. To no surprise, Courtney works in the fashion industry over in Manhattan. Hence, a Jersey City engagement session showcasing the city from over the river!
What made you choose a Jersey City engagement session
Liberty State Park is where we chose to have our engagement session – we wanted the NYC skyline in our photos and knew Liberty State Park had the views and many cool monuments and pieces to incorporate in our photo shoot.
Give us all the details about the proposal!
Battello is a restaurant right around the corner of our apartment, we heard such good things about it yet due to an unstable pier when we first moved, it didn’t reopen until January of 2019. We always talked about going and on Saturday, March 9th, Erik made reservations and made it seem very casual saying how we always wanted to go!
Furthermore, we love Liberty State Park as a location because of the variety. There are beautiful gardens to add a natural feel to the photos. This park is a great spot for a Jersey City engagement session.
In conclusion, we can’t wait for their wedding day! You can find more information about Liberty State Park here. Lastly, want to see more NYC inspiration? Check out this post here! Thanks for checking out this Jersey City Engagement Session.
