The Hotel du Village provided the European-inspired backdrop and A COTTAGE GARDENER accentuated it with a stunning sprawling garden climbing up the mint-kissed walls. A color palette of blush and cappuccino informed the design choices in the additional details like a luscious three tier cake adorned with ribbon and painted sweet pea by PARK AVE CAKE and paper goods by AUGUST AND OSCELIA.”

Hotel du Village

Firstly, I love being a New Hope Wedding Photographer! Bucks County is full of charming wedding venues. One of my favorite’s is Hotel du Village. Truly, it’s a European themed oasis tucked away outside of New Hope, PA. Without doubt, I knew this would be the perfect place for our vision to come to life!

The Details

The Hotel du Village bridal suite was spilling with light. First, we began our day with a romantic boudoir look. Our beauty team really set the mood for this dreamy day. Makeup by Emily Dimant created an ethereal dewy glow. The iridescent palette was magical. Emily paired the look with fluttering faux mink lashes. Dawn from Luca and Luna Vintage styled our bride in a romantic 1930’s slip. Ariel Katrina Hair transitioned the curls into an old-world inspired, half up-half down style. Ariel completed the look with a velvet bow, inspired by recent red carpet looks.

Our bride wore a gorgeous Hayley Paige design. This gown is from local bridal shop, La Belle Mariee. We paired this exquisite look with chic chiffon Bella Belle wedding booties.

Florals

The cozy atmosphere at a Hotel Du Village wedding is warm and inviting. Most noteworthy is the chic black and white tiling. Kim from a Cottage Gardener therefore created the most beautiful sprawling garden up the mint kissed walls. Truly, I was so in love with the blush & cappuccino color palette we chose. In fact, Kim went running with the theme and added a touch of flirty magenta and peach.

Dessert

I knew I wanted a special cake with an artistic flair. For this reason, Park Ave Cake created a luscious three tier cake adorned with ribbon. Furthermore, she painted a beautiful design of sweet pea’s. Our pastry artist also provided us with rose & pearl filled macaroons. Certainly, you can trust us when we say they where are scrumptious as they look!

We ended the day at Hotel du Village with an artisan inspired sweetheart table. The late afternoon glow created an ultra romantic ambiance. I truly adored capturing this day on film. For this reason, I brought numerous rolls of Kodak Portra. In conclusion, Hotel du Village is a dream venue.
