The weekend was filled with bright colors and vibrant florals, but I’m obsessed with this neutral take on an engagement session. If you think neutral means boring, think again! This New York engagement session was anything but.
A Modern Approach
If you want a more modern take on engagement portraits, a studio might be the perfect fit for you. This stunning light-filled studio was perfect for these two.
The contrast between their white and black outfits was so beautiful, and the whole look felt really elevated. I love how the simple, classic color palette allowed for a more playful approach with textures and posing.
We added a bit of movement, which was the perfect way to add a bit of whimsy and a fine art aesthetic. I’m still thinking about this gorgeous, textured Leanne Marshall gown from Lovely Bride Rochester. It was perfectly balanced paired with Jacquilin’s white suit, and the touches of gold with jewelry were beautiful as well.
Katherine Elizabeth Salon created the most stunning makeup look for both women. I love the bold brow moment with the perfect peach lip color on Marina. I love that the bridal fashion and their connection were the main focus of the day. Both women completed their looks with a pair of Bella Belle Shoes.
