2022 wouldn’t have been complete without one last creative shoot.  I am so excited to share this modern and chic Malibu wedding inspiration.  This shoot was a bit different than our usual vibe.  It was so much fun to style & photograph. El Matador is a stunning piece of coastline full of energy and beauty.  Perfect for an adventurous couple looking to have unique nuptials! Although the beaches can be windy, they are absolutely stunning.

We started the day at Hotel June, not too far from the State Park. This 60’s inspired motel is very old meets new with a super lovely staff.  It was is the perfect spot to get ready for your Malibu Wedding.

I really wanted to incorporate a funky glove.  This trend is continuing into 2023 and I wanted to put a fresh spin on it.  I found these pink tulle gloves from Daily Sleeper.  Make sure to check out their luxury PJ’s for getting ready on your wedding morning!

Our model wore two little white dresses and jewelry from Untamed Petals.  I especially loved the flirty 90’s veil matched with the swing dress. Texture was something I really wanted to show off in this editorial.  I think feathers where the perfect touch, what do you think?

I got together with some of my favorite Malibu wedding vendors to create these contemporary elopement looks.  Makeup by Emily Dimant and Ariel Katrina Hair did such a great job creating fresh and colorful beauty looks.  How cool is the lilac eye shadow with the coral lip?

What a wonderful year 2022 was! As I am sitting in my office, here in Pennsylvania, the snow is falling outside.  Naturally, I am already dreaming up my next trip to California.  We where lucky enough to have three projects on the West Coast this past year.  I can’t wait to return for our next wedding!
