This Montauk engagement session with Katie and Christian was dreamy and light-filled from beginning to end. We had the best time walking on the beach and keeping things cozy by the fire.
Montauk Engagement Session with Katie and Christian
Christian and Katie wanted engagement photos in the Hamptons, which is sentimental to them. We made their dreams come true with a beach session in Montauk. We chose Hotel Marram for the occasion, and it was picture-perfect! The three of us couldn’t get over how beautiful the colors were that evening.
We started our session by walking the beach path around the hotel. It had beautiful tall grasses, which made the perfect backdrop for them.
Next, we made our way down to the beach. I was floored by how stunning the sunlight was. We all loved the hotel’s walkway down to the beach, too. It was a fun way to add an architectural element to their session. I love how dramatic the images were in black and white.
To end their session, we made a quick wardrobe change before going down to the beach. I loved this playful part of the session and the golden sunset light that poured around us. The waves were calm, and the colors were so pretty. Of course, we ended the celebration with champagne!
Engagement Session Wardrobe Highlight
Katie and Christian chose the coziest wardrobe for the engagement session with the perfect color palette. Katie wore a beautiful cream-colored sweater dress. It was perfect for all of our locations, both indoor and outdoor! Christian was also styled perfectly in a dark blue crew neck and khakis, which worked wonderfully with both of Katie’s outfits.
This sweet couple is from Long Island, and their wedding will be in Brooklyn! We are thrilled for their big day and can’t wait to share more of their story with you soon.
