It’s a year later and I am still swooning over this studio shoot. Last spring, a team of incredibly talented vendors came together to create this romantic spring photoshoot. The goal was also to raise money for our model Katya’s Ukraine fundraiser. A year on, I am reflecting on this day and wanted to share these artful portraits here on the blog. I had a lot of fun photographing this session with Kodak Portra 400 as well as Portra 800 film. I love to utilize my medium format camera every chance I can get.
The Team
Heritage Gatherings and Myrtle & Magnolia created such gorgeous floral arrangements. Everything was bursting with color, texture and romance. I especially loved the moody hand painted backdrop, it truly made the florals pop.
Vintage Betty Rentals always know how to create a stunning and dramatic set. I always love the old world touch she adds to our photoshoots. It’s always fun to have some unique details.
Makeup by Kourt did such a fantastic job of making our makeup glow. How stunning are her hazel eyes in contrast to the yellows and coral? I also loved this loose and modern hairstyle created by Bridal by Natalie.
