This week, we are excited to share Katherine and David’s cozy winter Cape May engagement session with all of you. These two and I had the most fantastic time exploring this charming beach town before the holidays while it was full of festive details. We stayed cozy along the way by stopping at one of their favorite hot chocolate spots before we went to the beach to meet up with another very cute family member!
A Cozy Winter Cape May Engagement Session
This little beach town on the Jersey Shore was the perfect location for this cozy winter engagement session. I loved that we were able to not only have an adorable downtown area for portraits but also got to spend some time on the beach!
Being able to utilize the beach for a session on occasion is one of my absolute favorite parts of being an East Coast wedding photographer. Nothing compares to holding hands on the beach and hearing the sounds of the waves crashing in the background. It doesn’t matter the time of year. The coast is perfection every single time.
These two also made a quick wardrobe change after hot chocolate in Cape May for the beach portion of our session. We loved that they chose a more dressed-up option and a casual choice for the beach!
They even invited their adorable pup along for the adventure. He loved running up and down the beach, and we got some really sweet portraits with their whole crew.
I am thrilled to revisit this charming Victorian beach town for their June wedding this summer! We are still so excited for this fresh new year and very much enjoying this engagement season. If you’re recently engaged and planning your big day, reach out if you’d like us to help you document your special day!
