This was the sweetest Highlands engagement session. It was such a joy meeting these two, and I loved documenting this new journey for them. Their images will have you wishing for cozy sweaters, a fireplace, and peppermint mochas with a good book!

Highlands Engagement Session

I met this sweet couple for their engagement session right in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was a stunning location in North Carolina and such a sweet part of their story. The Rockwood Lodge was the perfect venue, and the views were spectacular! I loved the variety and the dramatic landscape during the winter season. We had the best time exploring the property and finding all the best cozy spots.

I love that they chose such a meaningful place for their photography experience. Having your engagement session at your wedding venue is also a really fun way to get to know the property. I can’t wait for their wedding here in a few months.

Traveling for Sessions
