Happy New Year to all of you! We are kicking things off this week with Hope and Kyle’s dreamy Central Park engagement session.
We can’t think of a more perfect way to start a fresh new year as a wedding photographer than highlighting one of our stylish and amazing HHP couples before they say “I do” this year! They even brought their adorable pup along for a handful of family portraits!
Dreamy Central Park Engagement Session
We started this magical session at sunrise with Kyle and Hope at one of my favorite New York spots, Bethesda Fountain. Sunrise is the perfect time for a session here, both for the delicious golden light and to beat the crowds to the best views!
Pro Tip: Consider a sunrise session if you love a specific location, but so does everyone else. Even abroad, most tourists don’t start their day until later. Sunrise is the perfect time to have the place to yourselves!
Bethesda Fountain has everything you could dream of for the perfect NYC engagement location. The stairs are perfect and make the most fantastic reflector for the delicious sunrise light. There’s also a gorgeous tile not-so-hidden gem just a short walk away. As someone who loves the architecture in Europe, this feels like the next best thing to being there!
Of course, we also made our way over to Bow Bridge just as the sun was really starting to show off! We were able to take our time walking throughout the park and had the most amazing time chatting about their plans for the year and their upcoming wedding day. They’ve chosen one of my very favorite venues, Hotel du Village, for their 2024 wedding!
