Katie and Kyle’s timeless Upper East Side wedding in New York was such an incredible day. Recently, I shared their welcome dinner at Mamo in SoHo. This week, I’m sharing a peek inside their stunning wedding day!

We started their wedding day with getting ready images at The Pierre. It was the perfect space for Katie and her crew to relax and soak in all the butterflies and excitement before things kicked off. Katie has been such a fun bride to work with, and I loved her playful personality and how it has shone through at each and every one of our sessions together over the last few months!

I also loved Kyle’s getting-ready images. We always try to make the getting ready portion of the day just as memorable for the grooms. I really like how the setting offered an editorial and moody feel for his portraits.

After we got Katie into her stunning wedding gown (that had a changeable skirt for the reception!), we made our way downstairs for the first look. The outside of the hotel was such a pretty spot for their first look and an easy walk to some stunning portrait locations outside The Plaza and Central Park. What more could you ask for during your NYC wedding day?

The weather was perfect, and we took full advantage of our timeline to document Katie and Kyle and their wedding party before heading to the Harmonie Club for their wedding ceremony.

Their ceremony was stunning, and A Petal To Peddle did a fantastic job with their florals throughout the day. They chose to keep the color palette classic with white flowers throughout the event. It melded perfectly with their modern and minimalistic vibe for the day.
