As cooler weather is quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to share this cozy Lake Placid Lodge wedding with you. The Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York were the perfect backdrop for Meredith and John. They put together the most spectacular day with gorgeous views and the coziest reception. Every moment felt so romantic, and these two spent a beautiful day with some of their favorite people.
Lake Placid Lodge Wedding
This venue was absolutely stunning, and I was so excited when I found out Meredith and John chose the lodge for their wedding.
We started the day as usual with details and getting ready images. Meredith put together a handful of her favorite items of the day for me to photograph first thing. I always love seeing the items my couples choose to have with them on their wedding day. A new perfume can be a fantastic way to remember your day after the festivities are over, and it can be a beautiful way to put you right back in the moment when you wear it.
For their portraits, we chose a beautiful location near the water. We started with a First Look with just the two of them. I love how adding a First Look to your timeline can take some of the pressure off of the day. I can see in the images how couples light up once they’re reunited with their favorite person during their own special moment.
A Stunning Floral Instalation
After their portraits, we made our way to the ceremony location. Samantha Nass put together a stunning ceremony installation. It looks as though it was pulled straight from a storybook and was so cozy for their guests. Adding a unique floral installation to your day can be a stunning way to elevate the experience for your guests.
We ended the day with an elegant reception dinner with gorgeous, rustic, and cozy details. The candlelit dinner was the most beautiful way to end the day.
