On a perfect summer day, Leslie and Chris had a Longwood Gardens engagement session. This beautiful botanical garden is located in scenic Kennett Square. Chester County is such a beautiful corner of Pennsylvania! We where excited to have such wonderful weather and stunning lighting. Longwood Gardens Engagement photos are always breathtaking! Italian Inspired Fountain Gardens
To begin, the fountains are the perfect spot for a Longwood Gardens engagement session. The photos here are magical! Especially once the sun drops and the light is a soft golden hue. Truly, we felt like we where in Rome! I really enjoyed shooting Kodak film during this session. My go to!
Leslies dress was the perfect shade of blue! It really popped against the columns and complimented the scene. I always recommend that couples have an outfit that feels special and a bit dressy. After all, we are celebrating! It’s fun to have an outfit change. Tip, start in a look that feels more casual and then switch to one that’s more elevated.
Longwood Gardens Engagement Session
Secondly, we head over to the Flower Garden Walk. The rose arches are one of my favorite spots for photos. The framing is really beautiful and the steps are great for some close up shots. Honestly, there are endless spots to utilize at a Longwood Gardens engagement session. Certainly, every corner is beautiful.
The Lake Area
Next, we made our way towards the Lake area. Undoubtedly, the gazebo is such a beautiful spot for impactful photos. It’s a little more quiet back in this area which is nice. Therefore, we had the chance to do more romantic poses without crowds passing by.
After this, we headed to the conservatory! There are plenty of beautiful backdrops in the greenhouses. Therefore, if it’s raining, this is a great option for your Longwood Gardens engagement session.
After, we did an outfit change! I always love to do this so the final gallery has a lot of range and options. Leslie and Chris did a neutral soft color palette which went well with all the backdrops. Truly, those Valentino heels are CHIC. Indeed, Longwood Gardens engagement photos are perfect for romantic date. Also, make sure to get dinner after!
