Wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley
Here you will find some of our favorite’s from this wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley. This romantic venue was an especially perfect location for a late summer wedding. For starters, this beautiful venue looks like a tuscan villa and even features stone ruins! Furthermore, below is one of my favorite “first looks” to date!
Wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley
“We had our wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley. What sold us was there was an equally beautiful outside as well as inside ceremony locations since we knew we wanted to get married at the venue. But what we soon learned to love most is the beautiful ‘tuscan’ feel right outside of Philadelphia, with the stone, open court yard, green everywhere and who doesn’t love string lights! The venue had many different areas guests could go, all of which were romantic and warm feeling.” -Liz
Favorite Detail
“One of my favorite items was my something blue, a locket wrapped around my bouquet with a photo of my grandma in it on her wedding day wearing the same veil which I wore on my wedding day. In fact, personal touches like that where so important to me. Truly, the vibe was just to be us! Meaning, we are very family and friend oriented. In fact, there was definitely both a romantic and joyful vibe.” -Liz
Color Scheme
“Firstly, we love neutral, soft, romantic colors. We went with a pallet of all different shades of blue (both of our favorite colors), with sprinkles of blush, whites, greenery and pops of gold. A lot of our decor was DIY, from the table runners (hand dyed, Sean’s idea!), to name tags, table numbers, seating chart, and our guest board I painted. Sean’s mom also contributed and made us a welcome sign . For this reason, the DIY feel was also important to me to be able to put personal and unique touches throughout the day.”

Wedding Party
“The whole bridal party wore all different shades of blue! Sean and the groomsmen wore navy blue suits and chestnut color shoes from Flocco’s in Conshohocken. Maids of Honors wore Morilee in “dove” and Bridesmaids also wore Morilee in “fog”. I got my gown from a boutique in Wilmington, DE called Irinis Original LLC. It was such a fun and personal experience getting my dress there 🙂 Personally I think the ring bearer and flower girls wore it best!” – Liz
Indeed, the lighting at this venue is always fantastic. Surely, you can always expect gorgeous wedding Photos at The Old Mill in Rose Valley. Especially in the late summer and early fall.
Favorite Moments
“Truly, we both agree our favorite memory of the day was our wedding ceremony itself. There were a lot of personal touches including Sean walking his mom down the aisle and both of my brothers walking me down the aisle, we did a unity candle in which both of our moms got to be involved. My absolute favorite part of the ceremony was getting to say our own vows. Sean surprised me with personalized vow books, no matter how nervous I was, I wouldn’t have changed the decision to say our own vows in front of everyone we love most for the world.” – Liz
Wedding Photos at The Old Mill Rose Valley
Most noteworthy, the scenery is one of the reasons we love taking wedding photos at The Old Mill in Rose Valley. Truly, the ceremony site is gorgeous. To illustrate, this ceremony began during golden hour and ended under the cool softly lit shade while the couple read their vows.
From the Bride –
“I love that Sean gets so excited over ‘the little things’ but they aren’t little things to him. When he feels passionate about something, he goes all in. I especially get butterflies when he gets that way over his friends’ accomplishments. He has a lot of love to give and I’m lucky and grateful he’s my love story.”
From the Groom –
“My favorite thing about Liz is her empathy towards others, in her work life and personal life both.”
In conclusion, this wedding at The Old Mill in Rose Valley was especially full of love and heartfelt moments. To put is briefly, these two radiated with joy! Undoubtably, it was an honor to capture the love between these two!
